Food was awesome , I ordered a chicken biryani and the vegetable soup it came with it was also lovely. The spicy squid was delicious. I tried a bit of my mates chicken bhoona and it was also very good. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
It’s safe to return! Not sure what happened pre-pandemic but the food wasn’t good here and it was necessary to drive to Lingfield or Edenbridge for takeaway! All fixed now. I’ve ordered a few times in the last couple of months. The food is consistently decent, the staff are friendly. It’s a good neighbourhood curry house. Would be lovely to see more people dining in as its reputation picks up again. Incidentally: wouldn’t order online. The platform charges a fee and you might as well just pick up the phone.
Another lovely meal here at the Golden Bengal, this time for the husband's birthday. The staff are really helpful and kind to our children, and I was pleased to be able to bring them with us on a Saturday evening. All dishes were delicious and the food arrived promptly even though it was reasonably busy. Will definitely return - probably quite soon!

We really enjoyed our meal at the Bengal. I had the Chicken Jalfrezi and my partner went for the Chicken Shaslik. Both dishes were superb and the staff made time to chat to us and made us feel very welcome! See you again soon Golden Bengal!
Fantastic food but really sad I can't use them any more for delivery. It seems they are always unavailable for delivery on Just eat. And their own site which does do delivery uses a provider I have never heard of, and which only accepts credit card details. In this day and age that is unacceptable. Banks will no longer refund fraud when you have provided your details to a company, so you NEVER provide card details to any website you don't already know very well. I have never heard of 'ordere'. They need to support PayPal/Google/Amazon pay before I will ever use them. It's too bad but online is all about reputation before all else. No reputation, no value. Ordere have no reputation, so must borrow it from PayPal or the like in order to do business. And I almost never have cash these days. And don't do business with any company where I have to read my card details over the phone. As I say banks no longer cover this for fraud, times have changed. And rightly so.

Mmmm! Great takeaway again. We are never disappointed. Since reopening we have started to use Golden Bengal again and we are so glad we did. Looking forward to the next one.
